Gatherings

what to expect on Sunday mornings

Visiting a church for the first time can be nerve-racking, but having an idea of what to expect can help.
Our guests are important to us, and we mean it when we say it: you are welcome, and we are glad you're here.

First Impressions

Please feel free to come as you are; most people dress casually but feel free to wear what makes you comfortable. Coffee and refreshments are available for all in the lobby, and if you have kids, they can be checked into Anthem Kids at our Welcome Desk. We'd like to get to know you better so we can know how to serve and connect you, so please fill out a connect card either here or in person on a Sunday.

Worship

Our gatherings usually last 75-90 minutes. We worship through song, scripture reading, the preaching of God's word, and the taking of communion together.
O
Our preaching is gospel-centered, and we often preach through books of the bible verse-by-verse, to show you what the whole Bible teaches in its intended context and  to ensure that we may all grow closer to God through Jesus and the Spirit.
O
In all we do on a Sunday morning, our goal is to worship Jesus with our all our heart, soul, and mind .

Anthem Kids

Anthem Kids, which is a teaching ministry to children on Sunday mornings, serves families with children from 6 months in age through preschool.
O
We utilize biblically-based and fun materials to help teach the gospel to children in a way that is age appropriate.
O
Safety is of extremely high priority here at Anthem, therefore all of our Anthem Kids volunteers are required to complete a background check before volunteering.

If there's anything else you'd like to know about our gatherings, please don't hesitate to reach out to our staff.
