Outdoor Gatherings | What to Expect

Welcome to Anthem!

We are so glad you are planning to join us for our outdoor gatherings! As we look forward to being together, please take a moment to review what you and your household can expect as you arrive on Sunday morning.

1. Aside from the primary goal of worshipping our Lord as we gather, one of our highest priorities is to remain both hospitable and safe. Our first step in this is prevention – if you or anyone in your household is exhibiting any symptoms of sickness or has been exposed to anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19, please do not attend our in-person gatherings until you are well again. We are still utilizing our livestream; each week the same sermon and worship is used for both options, so you won’t miss a thing. The symptoms and situations to look out for are:
  • Within the past 24 hours (NEW or not explained by a pre-existing condition)
    •  Fever (≥100°)
    • Cough
    • Sore throat
    • Difficulty breathing
    • Unexplained muscle aches
    • Loss of sense of smell or taste
    • Nasal congestion (not allergies)
    • Diarrhea (≥ 3 loose stools in 24 hours)
    • Eye redness with or without drainage
  • If, in the past 14 days, you have tested positive for COVID-19 (or are currently being tested for COVID-19 and have symptoms)
  • If, in the past 14 days, you have lived with or otherwise been exposed to someone who has COVID-19 or you are currently being tested for COVID-19 and you have symptoms. Exposure is defined as: less than 6 feet away for more than 15 minutes, with one or more individuals not masked.

2. As you arrive, please find a parking space. You will soon be met by one of our greeters, who will direct you towards the Welcome Center.

*If you have children, please take them down the hill to Camp Anthem before checking in at the Welcome Center. There will be signs and volunteers helping you along the way.

3. At the Welcome Center, your household will be checked in for the gathering, provided with communion elements, and given a church bulletin. A digital bulletin is also available on our app. Your household will then be met by an usher.

4. The usher will escort your household to your seats, which will be appropriately distanced from others. Please maintain this distance for the duration of the gathering. Facility bathrooms will be cleaned before the gathering and are open for use during the gathering.

5. Our gatherings should last approximately 1.5 - 2 hours.

6. Once the gathering has ended, please retrieve your children from Camp Anthem, as they will not be brought up to the gathering space.

After attending, if for any reason you do not feel comfortable with the environment we’ve curated, we would love to hear your concerns or suggestions for improving safety. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at hello@anthemchurch.net for any reason at any time during this process.

We look forward to worshipping with you in person! May we make Jesus known together, worshipping him in every season we walk through together as his church.
